This scar on the top of my right foot is from my first and only surgery so far in my life (unless you count wisdom teeth). I got it in 2002 after having a sist removed from my foot. I first noticed the sist during my sophmore year of high school in the winter of 2001. It hurt just to have shoes tied on it and running for wrestling practice was torture. I had just made the varsity team and was the only girl on my team so I decided to wait until after the season was over once the doctor told me that it needed to be removed. The sist turned out to be cancerous, but they removed it all during the opperation. I was obviously scared a little bit, but I didn't want to miss out on anything in my life that was important to me, especially if it had been meant to be a short life. Later I got to rock a mean pair of crutches for three months, but it all taught me something about myself and what's really important to me.
