One night, some guy beat the crap out of me for I forget now what reason, and he slugged me in the head really hard, and I think it messed up my already faulty wiring, because after that, I started living under a bridge near Kemah or with whatever guy I could pick up who would let me stay with him. And then I got this notion that I was the Second Coming, that somehow the first one's failure had led the Great One to believe that only a woman could be the Messiah now. I preached to many a fisherman and homeless person. I was finally arrested and taken to the psych ward in Galveston.
