In the past month, my grandfather acquired a series of second-degree burns due to an accident tanning on his Manhattan rooftop. As his heath looked grim, I was enthusiastic about my move to New York and to prospectively help in any way possible. Luckily, he has been recovering and is thankfully doing much better. This is a photo I'd taken during his detrimental period at the Kessler Rehabilitation Center in New Jersey. He is picture here watching a short, stop motion I'd made about a Banana called Bananamation. It had always cheered him up. He's been a huge inspiration to me and an artist of incredible talent.
