Me: I just came from a 18th birthday party. It was terrible.
Belle: At least she had one.
Me: Why is an 18th birthday so important to you? I mean, its just another day.
Belle: Its important to me because its one day where all eyes are on you. No distractions, no nothing.
Everyone is there to show that they care. Why don't you understand that!
Me: But you had one! I was there!
Belle: I told them if its not what I wanted, then i dont want to celebrate it. I dont care if I sound selfish!
