To Robert age 8: Enjoy time with your grandmother-- she let's you get away with everything and thinks you can do no wrong. You won't get to see her much longer.
To Robert age 14: Stay away from Brian and Khim. They're heading down a road you don't want to take.
To age 16: Don't worry about being popular-- it won't change the person you are.
To age 18: Don't mess around with Courtney. She may be cute and sweet but the baggage she brings is heavy. Move out with your friends, but don't blow off school-- it's the second worst decision you will make.
To age 21: If you're living in the Pool Hall, even after my advice about not blowing off school, DO NOT let the place become a dump-- it will cost you more than you know.
To age 27: Ask April to marry you and don't be afraid. She's better than you deserve.
