Goodbye wising she is unexpectedly looking at me with a smile while she is still young, and goodbye at the idea of meeting her by chance at the geriatric in 40 years time and practicing aggressive fencing with our white and turquoise walking sticks. Although that last bit makes me laugh, that laugh makes really tough to mean goodbye at the unexpected-smile-while-young bit.
