FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
WELLINGTON MAN WAKES AT EARLY ALARM
Wellington, New Zealand - April 16, 2008 - At 6:05 am on the 11th of April an alarm sounded at the Te Aro residence of Jason Aldous. Mr Aldous had resided at his The Terrace location for several months and the alarm came as no surprise.
"I didn't mind it at all, the next one would have been much worse." he said, referring to the rumoured 6:15 am alarm Jason also claimed to have prevented. He explained the delicate procedure: "I switched the alarm setting from SNZ to OFF, if I hadn't switched it off in time it may have disturbed [Kate]."
No other residents reported either alarm. Though it is expected to occur again neither the police nor the mayor have issued any statement of warning.
